Hello everyone !
We’ve reached the end of another lovely early-spring week. I spent the last couple of days with family in lovely Brussels eating very well and enjoying the blossoming trees. Today as I pondered subjects for this letter, I realized I didn’t have a March wrapup, so I figured I’d share some of the things I’ve enjoyed over the last week.
On the flights I took last week, I was extremely productive with my studying. I also had time to enjoy a couple movies. I watched Bikeriders which was simply fun watch with its rugged atmosphere and Jodie Comer, who I love, doing a midwestern accent. The movie bears such similarity to Goodfellas that I had to begin watching that, too. Though I didn’t finish it, I got to all my favorite parts (“we hit the deer and his paw got stuck in the grill”) so I was quite contented.
I’ve been reunited with my Nintendo Switch, too, which means I get to see the cherry blossoms on Animal Crossing while my villagers berate me and ask me why I haven’t spoken to them in months.
Unfortunately, I’m still nursing a doozy of a flu (?) which means UGLY congestion. That, in turn, translates to me taking every opportunity to eat pho I can. The other day I had an enormous bowl a short walk from home in the 16th. The noodles were perfectly silky and the waitress gave me a ramekin-full of sliced fresh chilis when I asked her for more. My sinuses were instantaneously unclogged, I felt like a new person on my walk home.
Finally, as always, I have been enjoying flowers. Pink trees, falling magnolia petals make walks outside feel magical. For inside, bright orange ranunculus have been one of my favorites of late. I love the cool patterned tulips so much as well. It’s also a joy to have minty eucalyptus hanging from my showerhead making the little room feel fresh.
That’s all from me this week. Thanks for reading :)
XO,
Natasha
And now, the last word: WAKE
Spring has indeed sprung!!
