Hello everyone,
I imagine you’re reading this on Monday morning, I’m sorry for being late. I hope you’ve had a wonderful weekend and have a good plan for the week ahead.
Every March I get excited to spring forward. There’s a joy about shaking off the wintertime that gets highlighted when the days get longer and sunsets begin later.
I spent this week on a few adventures with friends, but more than anything I’ve been using the freshness of the new season as an excuse to focus on what I want to accomplish this year. Writing is, as always, at the forefront of my mind. So is studying. As much as I love it, the material gets a little dense at times, so I’ve modified my lessons for diversity a bit. This week during I’ve had a lot of fun discerning different scents in the Nez du Vin collection and have, at the risk of gloating, gotten quite good at it. Now, to put my knowledge to the test :)
I loved March this year because I feel like I finally have two feet on the ground in Paris. The warm weather, buds on the trees, and late light feel like a needed infusion of energy after an emotional few weeks of linguistic and physical challenges. Emerging from them confirms my sense of accomplishment and eagerness to continue pushing myself, but I know the movement toward summer will only put a stronger breeze in my sails.
Weekly WRAP
Wearing: silver jewelry, just to change it up a little.
Reading: my study guide (I’ve made it to Italy after like eight weeks of studying France).
Admonishing: HSBC for firing some of their investment bankers on bonus day.
Pondering: how many times I’ll be at Chop Chop next month to experience the Superfly Mob residency.
XO,
Natasha
And now, the last word: HORIZON.
